Scoring and victory

During a game you will gain ‘victory points’ for each enemy unit you kill equal to that unit’s Force Point cost. The score is displayed at the bottom centre of the screen next to each player’s name. This score is a guide to how well you are doing, but ultimate victory may be determined by other factors depending on the scenario you are playing. There are two types of scenario: ‘Wipe Out’ and ‘HQ’.

WIPE OUT

A ‘wipe out’ scenario is won if your opponent has no combat capable units left, or by having the highest score at the end of the game. Each game has a game turn limit which is set at the start of the game. If the game turn limit is reached and both players have the same score, then the game is a draw.
A combatant capable unit is defined as a unit which can attack and has ammunition remaining, or at least has access to an HQ unit to reload. If a player has no remaining HQ then units with no ammo are not combatants as there is nowhere for them to reload.

HQ

An ‘HQ’ scenario is won if your opponent has no combatant capable units left, or you have eliminated all your opponents HQs. If the game turn limit is reached, and both players still have at least one HQ each, then the game is a draw, regardless of the score.
If an HQ scenario is selected each player must deploy at least one HQ during deployment. For the Spawn the Queen unit counts as an HQ unit for the purposes of deployment and victory determination. For the Greys, the Regenerator is the Equivalent of an HQ.
