Version 3-10 released - with new unit naming feature

Log in to your web interface and download the full version (there is no patch). You don't have to download the new version to start new games or continue playing turns, but you should do so as soon as you can.

This version fixes a few minor problems and adds a couple of new features.

The 3 main exploits have been fixed. They gave a slightly unfair advantage to players who knew how to take advantage of them, in certain situations.

The stats for the Greys have been slightly modified to improve their internal balance and balance against other races, particularly the Marines. The Sentry has been made slightly worse (less energy, more inaccurate), the Psyker attack takes slightly longer to take effect, and the Saucer and Warp Gunner have been slightly improved (more energy).

You can now name your units!

In your LSN beta installation (by default: Program Files\Laser Squad Nemesis) , edit the file name.cfg in the cfg folder. You can add a series of names for each unit type, separated by a '|' character. There is a maximum of 20 letters, and a limit on character types. You can use letters, numbers, spaces, dots and dashes only.

During a game, when you move the cursor over a unit its name will appear below. The name of the selected unit will appear above the unit type description on the left of the interface panel.

Finally, the tournament system now allows the tournament creator to specifically set minimum and maximum deployment quantities for each unit type. Look out for new tournaments taking advantage of this new feature.
