Direct fire

 

Click on the red ‘direct fire’ button to select direct fire mode. Select the firing unit and right click on an enemy unit to issue an order to shoot it. A red line indicates a direct fire order against an enemy unit.

If you right click on a space with no unit then a direct fire order is plotted in that direction and is shown with a purple line.

Each fire order instructs the unit to fire a single shot. If you want to shoot more than once at a unit, issue more orders. During the results phase, any fire orders against a unit that has been killed, or become hidden behind an obstacle, will be cancelled.
